Look what Autumn has brought - New Jewellery Boxes!
Autumn has come and may we add ‘at last’ to that, because it’s been a long hot summer here in the Hunter Valley. We are feeling invigorated with the cooler weather and delighted with the new products that have arrived with it, namely our beautiful new range of Drew boxes. Plush, glossy and exquisitely crafted they are a great addition to our range especially since we have lost a few favourite woodworkers to the admitted attractions of retirement, fishing and travelling.
The Drew boxes are a bandsaw style box, made from the one piece of timber which can be seen by the way the grain follows through from the lid to the body of the box, and a style that requires great precision to match up the grain for the best dramatic effect. Combine that with the deep, full-gloss finish and you have a very classy box indeed.
