Featured in The Cheshire Magazine – December 2019
Our Tubb Cheeseboard was featured in the December 2019 issue of The Cheshire Magazine, the North West’s leading luxury lifestyle title covering fashion, beauty, society, art, culture, travel, entertainment, and home and garden.
The Cheshire Magazine is the region’s largest glossy publication, reaching VIP subscribers across the Wirral, Cheshire, and Greater Manchester. It celebrates refined metropolitan living with editorial that highlights style, culture, and craftsmanship.
This issue highlighted our Tubb Cheeseboard as an elegant entertaining piece that blends artistry with everyday usefulness. Made from a curated selection of Australian timbers, each board is a one-of-a-kind arrangement of contrasting grains and tones that reflect the diversity of local hardwoods.
The board often incorporates timbers such as Blackwood, Tasmanian Oak, Queensland Maple, Rosewood, River Oak, Prickly Ash, Banksia, Ironbark, Macadamia, and Silver Ash. More uncommon species may also be included, chosen to create a balanced and visually striking composition. The curved handles are carved from the underside of the board, creating a comfortable grip for serving and presenting food. The top surface is smooth, durable, and perfectly suited to cheese, fruit, bread, and shared entertaining dishes.
Each cheeseboard comes with a printed card listing the timbers used from the outer edge toward the centre. With its graceful proportions and rich mix of materials, the Tubb Cheeseboard is a standout gift, particularly for friends and family overseas who value thoughtful Australian craftsmanship.
The Cheshire Magazine continues to champion exceptional design and fine craftsmanship, making it a fitting platform to feature our Australian-made Tubb Cheeseboard.
