Featured in Melbourne Wedding & Bride Issue 36
Our Sassafras Cape Barren Goose Serving Board and Lovebirds Sculpture were featured in Issue 36 of Melbourne Wedding & Bride, a publication known for its 400 plus page editions filled with the latest trends and essentials for the bride to be. With inspiring fashion pages and comprehensive wedding features, the magazine offers couples fresh ideas for every aspect of their celebration, including venues, photography, cakes, flowers, transport and styling.
The feature highlighted our Sassafras Cape Barren Goose Serving Board, a stylish platter available in Huon Pine or Tasmanian Blackheart Sassafras. The design is inspired by the native Cape Barren Goose, a distinctive Australian bird commonly found in the southern regions since becoming a protected species. The board features a polished pewter goose head, which adds sculptural interest and serves as a practical handle for lifting or handing the platter down the table.
The serving board is versatile and can be used for antipasto, cheese, sushi or general entertaining. Its contemporary profile and attractive packaging make it suitable for house warmings, weddings and for anyone who enjoys entertaining with natural materials and thoughtful design.
The issue also showcased our Lovebirds Sculpture, a whimsical creation from bird sculptor Andre. This charming pair of birds once graced the shelves of our gallery in the Hunter Valley and quickly became known for their unique and varied forms. Because each sculpture is one of a kind, the Lovebirds are not currently offered on our website, making the featured pair a rare and exclusive piece for collectors or for those who appreciate imaginative handcrafted work.
The inclusion of these handcrafted pieces in Melbourne Wedding & Bride reflects their appeal as meaningful gifts and stylish additions to celebrations and homes. Whether used for entertaining or displayed for their artistic charm, both the serving board and the Lovebirds sculpture offer a special blend of craftsmanship and character that suits the spirit of a wedding focused publication.
