I think the item is lovely, but didn't realize the stripe of contrasting timber would be placed in a different position. I think I prefer the stripe more central. Also, as the clock appears to be enclosed entirely, how does the battery get replaced? Happy to review my rating after I hear from you. Thanks Vi
