Their eye-catching scarlet bill and legs, iridescent blue plumage and snow-white undertail make an unforgettable image. Represented here in a characteristic tail down pose, this hand-carved bird captures the essential character and personality of the Swamp Hen. The body of the bird is made from sustainable Camphor Laurel and the head from resin, the whole hand carved and painted. Placed singly or with its pair, this is a beautiful bird.
