Huon Pine All Purpose Kitchen Board

The Huon Pine all-purpose kitchen board is an excellent all-rounder. Made from Huon Pine with its high oil content, it is perfect for use around food and in the kitchen. The pieces of Huon pine are cut along the grain then fused together and rested to make sure there is no movement in the board which is then fully conditioned with several coats of food-safe mineral oil and beeswax. Mounted on silicon pads, this board is steady to work on, easy to lift off the kitchen bench with its handy finger grooves and the raised clearance ensures that it will dry evenly when washed or wiped down.

All existing Huon Pine forests are protected and the Huon Pine used in these boards comes from salvaged logs from forest floors, rivers and valleys inundated by hydroelectric schemes.

This board is a great addition to any kitchen and a perfect gift for the home chef, foodie type or for anyone setting up a house and comes with full care instructions.
