Ebonised Redgum Chimney Vases

DESCRIPTION

The 'Chimney' vase series was created as an embodiment of the bush and the Australian landscape, evoking the red earth, the majestic river gums, the bushfires and the scorched signatures they leave on the trees, referenced in the ebonised rims of the vases. The contrast of the smooth, rich hues of the Redgum with the black, jagged rims is dramatic and evocative of Australia. The vases come in three aproximate sizes; small, medium and large and make a vivid decorative statement either singly or in groups of two or three. They are perfectly suited to dried flower arrangements but can also be used for fresh flowers by adding a plastic or glass container for water.
